The top shaft fits perfeclty into the factory lift point on the model 3 or model Y to which prevent damage to the side skirts, and most importantly the battery. The top surface is magnetic & below that has a rubber washer for premium paint protection. The magnetic top & rubber oring give you the option to pre-install the lift adapter which allows for an easy placement on either the floor jack or a lift.
