If your AC or heater blower motor is only working one one speed (usually high speed only), then 9 times out of 10 this is the part you need.
It is important to check the amperage draw of the blower motor when a resistor fails. Many ties the resistor fails because the blower motor is worn out and it requires more amperage to turn the blower motor.
