Wheels

A car wheel is the metal unit that holds the tire and is sometimes called a rim though there is some distinction. The wheel is attached to the vehicle by the wheel hub. Scuffed and scratched wheels do not necessarily need to be replaced if there's no structural damage but may be replaced for cosmetic reasons. If your wheel is cracked, dented or bent, it may need to be replaced or else it may not hold a good seal against the tire. A damaged wheel could also cause a vibration, tire blowout or other hazardous situation.
